Brianna Speight (b. 1993 Adelaide) completed a Bachelor of Visual Art specialising in Photography (2016) and Bachelor of Visual Art & Design Honours (2017) at the University of South Australia, Adelaide.

Her photography-based work playfully intersects with soft-sculpture and performance to visually interrogate her own experiences of femininity, aspects of reproduction and intimate relationships. Central to her practice is the idea that staged photography offers the opportunity to critically reflect on self and surroundings and to share with audiences the impacts of language, representation and events.

In 2018, her work was selected for the Helpmann Academy Graduate Exhibition where she received the Undergraduate Award for Excellence. Brianna is currently an Artist-in-Residence at Carclew which is the peak body for youth arts in South Australia. She has participated in multiple group exhibitions including Universal Citizen at Adelaide Airport, Form and Feeling at Carclew and Tender at Sauerbier House. 2019 will see a residency in the Limestone Coast of South Australia, a Guildhouse Catapult Mentorship and her first solo show at Floating Goose Gallery, Adelaide.
